I’ve seen to many post to single out one person, but I really like the no grating of chalk one. No way did I want to ruin sidewalk chalk to make chalk. To me that made no sense what so ever, and like it’d be a huge mess.
Most people have cornstarch on hand, and some sort of food coloring if you have kids. If not you can get those relatively easy, and for pretty cheap.
Instead of using my muffin tins I used the kids silicone heart cupcake cups which I use for snacks, and a plastic plate with their art paint brushes.
This whole thing took me less than a minute to make.
Recipe:
1 tbls cornstarch
1&1/2 tbls water
1 dot of food color
-mix till nice and smooth then let them have at it
We have a bunch of random lumber the oldest boy loves to use to make tracks and things with that they also enjoyed painting.
I think they really enjoyed this one, and I’m pleased to say my VERY messy kiddos didn’t really get messy amazingly.
