Has your child ever ever put a whole roll of toilet paper in the toilet? Or maybe their gutchies, or a toy, the list could go on. Then this hack is for you!
I was pregnant with the 4th, and by that point I was showing 6 weeks out so at 3 and a half months I was well on my way to being large and in charge. We had a repair man over working on an antique grandmother clock we inherited and he got the carpets a bit wrecked. So I drug up the carpet cleaner, and shampooed the two rugs while the others played in there rooms. I go upstairs and found that our youngest daughter at the time figured out how to unlock the diaper pail, and had diapers strewn about the room. I go and plop her in the tub to go and clean up the mess and while that’s happening my oldest ended up putting and ENTIRE NEW roll of tp in the toilet in the toilet. Mind you I’m already exhausted pregnant, and oh ya I had a stent in holding an 8mm kidney stone in place. I did what any parent would do I just walked away sat on my bed called my husband and cried.
I was able to pull up my big girl panties and bath the baby, clean out the toilet, and get the room cleaned (disinfected).
The TP I waited till last becuase I was NOT sticking my hands in the toilet pregnant (if you ever dealt with “morning” sickness I’m sure you feel me), and I was just hoping and praying to think of something. All of the sudden it clicked!
I just took a bag and from the outside I pushed my hand to reverse it and pull the tp out and then just zip locked the mess up. It was the easiest part of my day.
Phew lol.
Next great tip is that the Thirty-one large and medium totes fit right inside my large front loading washing machine! With how often I use them and full of dirt and germ they get it’s sooooo nice knowing I don’t have to fight to wash them down.
This last one is something you hear alllllll the time. Sleep when the baby sleeps.
I’m not saying do it all the time becuase then nothing would ever get done, and with 4 kids I know this. I’m just saying every once in a while let the dish pile be, and the laundry sit in the washer for a few extra hours, and, and, and so you can lay down and catch a few winks. It’s best when a little one comes in and sees your sleeping and decides to snuggle and fall back to sleep. Those are golden moments for so many reason and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
Till then Gob Bless and Enjoy!
