Felt Fishy Friends

Every once in a while I don’t have the supplies on hand, or have no desire to go out in the cold or rainy weather so I come up with other activities to do vs what Hooked On Phonics has listed. (Just one our many tools for school)

This time it was the letter F we were working, on and I didn’t have any extra cardboard nor did I want to go upstairs, and risk waking the baby for feathers out our craft cabinet (which is an antique buffet in the hall right across the baby’s room).

I made reusable make your own fishy buddies. It was great for a couple reasons. One it was for the letter F, and two it helped them with the parts of a fish. This is made to have pocket to keep everything inside also!

I took two different colors and cut them out and hot glued all around but a square pocket to keep everything inside. Then just cut everything else out and added some black marker to finish off the eye.

This was all made from 4 sheets of felt, hot glue, and a marker.

Till then God Bless and Enjoy!
