If your kids are anything like ours they love puzzles, which means you probable just accumulated a bunch more. It also amazes me how many times they will do the same one over and over also.
Over the years I feel I’ve finally found a real system that works for us.
All the little 24-48 piece puzzles either come in this long to big of a box, or a smaller odd shaped square box, or my least favorite the bag with sharp edges. So instead of dealing with all of that I toss it all out and go for a sandwich bag. (I also love the binder zipper bags you can get for SUPER cheap at the Dollar Store, or at places like Target and Wal-Mart for back to school supplies.)
However, that was still all over my cabinet and a mess. This year though I think I figured it out. It seems to be working so much better and they are doing more which is a win, win, win! I had this Paw patrol metal lunch pale from before and the Mini one was from this years Christmas.
The key is you need to tape on the finished photo of the puzzle they have shown on the package. It’s so easy to cut out. I use clear packing tape so the entire thing is covered and can’t be peeled/ripped off.
For little ones it need to be easy to clean up or the likelihood of them doing it themselves rapidly declines. I try my absolute best to make all of their stuff easy to clean so that they can be responsible for their own items. It’s a great life skill to have.
Till then God Bless and Enjoy!
