This is a quick and easy idea for if you have one or multiple children. You can even send these out and have multiple families create this for grandparents.
If you just have one or each of your children doing one their own you just make one tree truck and branches then let them go to town with a sponge round or cotton ball or qutips. If you have multiple you can find these 5×7 easy enough in a craft store or amazon.
I ended up have each of my three “older” children create this for my father in law for his office. They loved having their own and dabbing the paint. This was super quick also which was nice for myself to get some craft time in without a huge mess or a drawn out thing.
Sometimes it’s just nice to have a mushy brain kind of activity. They are still learning about the fall, colors, and design of a tree but it’s all subtle.
