I feel like there are two kinds of folks. One I love them they work! Two you’re crazy it’s a tiny rock, and you could kill your baby.
For us we try the holistic approach as much as possible. With all 4 of our babies we’ve used the necklaces, and I’ve gifted them to every new mom. The parents that use their necklace we gift always tells us “Thank you! It’s saving us right now!”.
When we had our first we were in the category of “ya right this is silly” until we put it on our son for the first time. It was amazing how after he’d had it on for 6 hours we noticed a tangible difference. He was a whole new kid, and his tooth still hadn’t come out for 2 more days. Now I’m not going to lie they are still fussy, and it’s still miserable but boy oh boy does it help. Especially if you’re like us and can’t stand the thought of teething tabs, and don’t want to use the aid of Motrin or Tylenol all the time.
What’s great about them:
- each amber bead is tied off so if it breaks you don’t have a mess
- the clasp is a safety clasp that releases after so many pounds of pressure (meaning they won’t strangle themselves with it)
- even if a bead breaks off they are so small already they wont choke (like our crazy wile 3rd child she straight bit one off and we’re guessing swallowed it becuase we never found it and she was fine…that child will be the death me)
- They come in a large variety of colors to match your child’s personality
- They have now added different beads/stones to help with other challenges like ADD/ADHD/Anxiety etc
I’ve bought all ours from a local store that now only does online orders. They are great with helping you pick the size you need for your little one. However I’ve also bought them through Amazon in a pinch from another great company. Just do your research for real stones and make sure you’re getting the right size.
