This is my new most favorite art work that we did today. (My MIL and I) This is one I’ve had saved for at least a year becuase I wanted to do it for Mothers day last year (but as I type this I’m thinking it was two years ago).
As far as painting and it wasn’t that hard per say but the amount of time it took was grand. There was a lot of shading and mixing of colors. Thankfully I remembered I had paint pens and used those for the Mama’s Tweet Heart letters.
I tried to find the original source for this creation but there were so many rabbit holes to it linking it to other people and then those blogs being closed. So I don’t have a link for you this time but it’s out there on several other blogs. You can see the different names used and different colors and shading. I loved all the variations!
Tips:
- have all your colors out and ready
- use a already painted canvas from the art store to wash/wipe off “whoopsy daisys”
- use a paint pen
- start out with the biggest foot first then the smallest then the next biggest and so on to fit them all on the easiest
- if doing multiple canvases (as I also did one for the MIL) do the same color birds at a time
- add the child’s name in the same color (I took mine off for this blog), and don’t forget the date!
Hope you enjoy this one. Make sure you allot yourself a good chunk of time due to the detail though!
Till then enjoy and God Bless
