What better way to start my blog then showcasing the “100 Acts of Kindness” project I found scrolling through Facebook one day earlier this month.
I saw this and just knew it needed to be our February home school project.
My babies (5, 3, 2, and 6mo) are, in my opinion, such loving, kind, and giving children. They love to make others happy and without being prompted most the time. I’m extremely blessed to have such caring human beings to raise. God has been so wonderful to us.
So in saying that I hand drew this with a marker and sharpie on a $0.59 poster board from the Dollar Tree and used scrap card stock to cut out a heart to use as my stencil. This was a lot more work than I meant to get myself into with creating 200 hearts so if you’d like an easier route I’d suggest scrolling over to the Toddlerapproved {{https://www.toddlerapproved.com/2018/01/100-acts-of-kindness-free-printable.html?fbclid=IwAR0TCgZ_dCZTRyu_PQzMjr3sr8gbMQsdhEjBtZTYCteQKCKTocH7i-VQ4Go} website to download and print out your own. I’ve also thought about the ease of just marking the lines and getting a heart punch to punch out a bunch of different reds, pinks, and purple papers for the kids to stick on the squares verse coloring them.
I hope you’ll enjoy this blog. It’s not going to be filled with word fluff and a million photos. I personally just scroll to the good stuff anyways so I thought it’d be more meat than fluff.
I’ll be sharing a new blog post soon though about what I intend for this Parenting off Script blog to be about and the things I’m passionate about and so on.
Till then God Bless and enjoy!
